I have a few friends in Russia struggling to access the torrent trackers and they have difficulties with download. And here at the screenshots on Russian language and General place of residence. The question was why the different version is a different download speed. Same here, 0.

This works for me. Just change the maximum download speed from infinity to some large finite number double your internet speed to make sure you don't accidentally limit yourself and downloads now are back to full speed. Weird bug. This worked for me at full speed with 4.
With infinite enabled, there is no speed actually. Not sure what has changed in Big Sur. It used to work fine. But after I restarted macOS, this problem went back again. I changed the number of max download speed to whatever and it worked again. Same here, the problem is back after restarting, changing the max download speed didn't seem to work this time around. Really weird, switched to Transmission for now until this gets fixed.
Has anyone heard anything from the devs on this? All is very quiet. My fix stopped working, not sure why. Didn't log out. What got downloads working again without reboot and restarting qBittorent was turning off "Apply limit to uTP protocol".
Actually in the Transmission forums people also report issues. Turning on uTP helped there. This method didn't work for me. If it's stuck at Downloading Metadata the only way for it to start downloading again is a reboot.
However, the user Kolcha has been able to provide valuable help in the past. Unsure, all the downloads act significantly weird and unpredictably now in Big Sur.
